I do a lot of walking and here in Las Vegas it tends to get a little bit hot and sunny. I have used different brands of sun block creams but do you have any recommendations of your favorite one/ones?

Mon, April 28, 2008 - 12:44 PMSun block does not block the heat, only the UV radiation which tans (and, quite often, burns) us.
If your goal is to keep cool (and judging buy your post, it seems to be) then just drink LOTS of fluids. Keep caffeine and alcohol to a minimum, as they will both dehydrate you.

Mon, April 28, 2008 - 7:10 PMI use Coppertone Sport (dark blue bottle). It's non-greasy, rubs in well, and doesn't sting.
Plus, of course, a hat, long-sleeved shirt, and long pants. But, then, I'm a redhead with a family history of skin cancer, so I'm a weeee bit paranoid. -

I keep it in the drop-top for all occasions. Non greasy but kinda rough on very sensitive skin. It's easier on the skin if you moisturize first with an hypo-allergenic facial moisturizer as I do.
