  a quick google for: windows tweaks rename recycle bin, turned up quite a bit. I would expect it depends on the version of Windows you are running, since some samples I glanced at involved registry edits.

      the easy way, without playing with the registry, is to use a utility like tweakUI . An easier solution is to use Desktop UI Renamer.
