I picked up a 200 y/o buffet, and its quite beautiful. However many areas of the wood are very dry looking. There is also a few water stains. What can I use to bring back the luster w/o stripping the wood? I dont want a wood cleaner as I know that will strip the wood and remove any of the old stains that are giving the buffet its character.
The wood is oak.
I also picked up a 100 y/o eastlake dresser which just needs some light cleaning, can I use the same wood polish for both? I dont know what the wood is of the dresser.
I really know nothing about wood and needs some help, thanks!!

Sat, April 19, 2008 - 1:41 PMI love the natural wood cleaner and polish by HOWARD NATURALS.
I've used it on a lot of antiques and it doesn't strip the wood or lose its charm. I also love the sandalwood scent.
Many healthfood stores carry it.
